TrueBand uses only what it needs to work. We don't use advertising cookies, we don't track you across other sites, and we don't use analytics cookies today. Because everything below is needed for the site to work, we don't ask for consent with a banner.

Cookies

• Sign-in cookie: keeps you signed in. It is set when you sign in and removed when you sign out or it expires.

Storage in your browser

These stay on your device; they are not sent to us as cookies.

• Saved answers: while you take a test, your answers, highlights and notes are saved in your browser (IndexedDB) as well as on our server, so a lost connection or a refresh doesn't lose anything.
• Test settings: your text size, contrast and timer choices on the test screen.
• Theme: whether you chose light or dark mode.

You can clear these at any time in your browser settings. Clearing cookies signs you out, and clearing site data resets your settings; your results stay safe on our side.

If we add analytics or other optional cookies, we will update this page and the privacy policy first, and ask for your consent where the law requires it.
